The MTI faculty consists of NTU full-time faculty from different schools, NTU part-time lecturers, and professional interpreters and translators from public and private sectors. They each have a unique background with specialised training in the disciplines that include translation studies, linguistics, literature, multilingual studies, Chinese studies, English literature, language and communication, broadcast and cinema studies, media, marketing, community and public services, information and technology, science, Western and Chinese medicine. They teach and/or co-teach the MTI courses by integrating their distinctive expertise and state-of-the-art research into the professional training.
